Since I was a kid, I have been drawn to urban planning and the idea of creating places where people feel connected to their neighborhoods and to one another. This interest led me to pursue a degree in Urban Studies and Planning with a GIS certificate. I believe that cities are strongest when they reflect the needs and voices of their communities, and I am committed to bringing that vision into practice.
My passion for planning has also been shaped by travel. I have explored transportation systems, historic preservation, and emerging urban forms around the world—from walking through new cities to studying the Rhône River in France. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how places can both honor their histories and evolve toward more equitable, sustainable futures.
